NCEA Now Accepting Award Nominations!
|
As a community educator, you know many
individuals and organization that have made outstanding contributions
in their work. The NCEA invites you to submit nominations to recognize
these outstanding accomplishments with an award at the 43rd Annual NCEA
Conference, November 5-8, 2008 in Dallas, Texas.
Granting these
annual awards for significant contributions to the field is one of the
ways NCEA encourages the development, expansion, and promotion of
Community Education. These awards have historically been granted to
those who have shown outstanding leadership or provided continuing
service and support to NCEA.
Take a moment now to submit a
nomination. What better way to recognize and honor those special
mentors, outstanding leaders, and exemplary programs and organizations
than with a national award? And if you know someone who has been
honored on the state level, this is your opportunity to nominate them
for a national award!
Awards are granted in nine categories including:
- The Distinguished Service Award
- The Community Educator Award
- The Citizenship Leadership Award
- The Outstanding Organization Award
