Among community educators it is agreed that no community is exactly the same. The vibrant tapestry of a given community is the combined result of individuals and groups being woven together; this is what makes communities unique and strong. As community educators, we have an obligation to connect these various pieces together through education, problem-solving skills, and continuous improvement.

I hope you will be inspired to reach out to groups that might not necessarily be as active in your communities. Community Education has a unique position to connect members in a community together, and this is especially true when it comes to individuals in special need of outreach or resources not available on their own. How exciting is the field of Community Education!
